Failure is a Blessing

Failure is a blessing when it pushes us out of a cushioned seat of self-satisfaction and forces us to do something useful.
If you carefully study your own life and those of achievers whom you admire, it is an absolute certainty you will discover that your greatest opportunities often occurred during times of adversity. It is only when faced with the possibility of failure that we are willing to deal with radical change and take the risks that lead to great success. When you experience temporary failure and you know that it is temporary, you can capitalize on the opportunities adversity always brings.

Be Your Very Best Always

Dear Readers,

Finding our true calling in life is usually not an easy task. Many of us try on different hats as we experiment with our life’s vocation, or personal calling. Sometimes, we begin to close in on what gives our life true purpose only to back away when we become frightened or concerned that we are unable to make a living at what we like to do. What we like to do or enjoy doing is usually what we are good at, and herein is our buried treasure: our calling or life’s work. It does not benefit someone to pursue a career in an area that only provides them financial security without personal satisfaction. Better to pursue a career that is short on finances but long on personal satisfaction. If you feel drawn to what you are doing, would do it for no monetary compensation whatsoever, are not compelled to watch the clock while you are doing it, and it harms no other living person, then you have found your calling or your talent. Hidden assets are those traits that are sometimes buried within us and do not surface until a very real need calls them forth. It could be an adversity, a sense of dissatisfaction, or just the desire to do more that calls our greatest talents forward into our daily lives. When these talents surface in our daily reality and are recognized by us, it is often like a homecoming because we have begun the journey within to our true self. Let these thoughts by Dr. Hill help you discover the wealth that is inside you – your personal treasure chest!

If we think about becoming ruthless, turning over our work to someone else because we are too lazy or distracted to do it, or fail to extend the proper courtesy to our co-worker, friend, loved one, or man on the street, the ultimate reflection is on us. On the other hand, if we extend the milk of human kindness to the person least likely to return the favor, do good for the sake of doing good and not for the sake of “what’s in it for me,” and be positive minded because a positive attitude is the right mental attitude in all circumstances, then the Universe will pave the way for us to do the work we are most suited to do. We then work toward fulfilling our destiny when we keep an open channel instead of block the flow. According to Dr. Hill, universal law never fails, and if the mantra “what you think about you become” is the pathway to success or failure, does it make any sense to focus on what we do not want in our lives? Always be good, do good, and you will have good. Good flows from good. Recognize this and you will be on the high road to success.

Be Your Very Best Always,
