What is it about the home that makes it such an effective learning laboratory? Many factors of family life work together to stimulate growth and development. Of course, no family is perfect, and therefore we cannot claim perfection for the learning laboratory, but families include by definition a great many of the ingredients for effective and realistic training in life skills. Added to that, families are the best setting for learning forgiveness and tolerance and love when the imperfections in the family and its individuals come to light.
