Taking back the responsibility for your children may not be easy. People may wonder why you aren’t running everywhere for enrichment in their little lives. But you will be gaining enrichment which can only be found by spending lots of time together, doing big and little, important and seemingly insignificant things. Rick Boyer, homeschooling father of ten says,
Life skills are the building blocks of the business of living, the skills we need to serve God in the life to which He has called us. They come to us as we explore our interests, fulfill our responsibilities, receive instruction, spend time with other people, and meditate on Scripture. God has developed a life curriculum for each of us, only a fraction of which will be learned in a classroom. The experiences we need to form both skills and character will be built by a loving Designer into the fabric of our lives to help prepare us for the rest of our lives.
With God designing the life curriculum for your family, think of the possibilities!
