Imagine being so out of touch with reality that you’re actually shocked when someone calls a biological male a biological male.

A Michigan appeals court recently sided with Yvette Cormier, a woman whose membership to Planet Fitness was terminated when she told staff she felt uncomfortable sharing the locker room with a transgender woman, i.e. a man.

Or, as one hysterical contributor to the LGBT site Hornet, put it, “complained about seeing a trans woman in the women’s locker room” and subsequently “misgendered the woman” because apparently in LGBT Newspeak “misgendering” means “noticing one’s biological gender.”

Cormier filed suit with Planet Fitness, citing a list of grievances that Hornet calls “over-the-top.” To me, they sound an awful lot like the list of grievances homosexuals usually have when their business is turned away by Christian bakers and florists, only they’re not usually forced to undress in front of a member of the opposite sex:

Cormier says her right to privacy was violated; that her membership was wrongfully terminated and thus a breach of contract; that the gym engaged in “conduct and communication of a sexual nature”; that she suffered emotional distress, a damage to her reputation and “all other damages that reasonably flow from Defendants’ outrageous behavior”; and, finally, a laundry list of “exemplary damages”: “aggravation, annoyance, discomfort, disgrace, feelings of oppression, humiliation, inconvenience, indignation, insult, mental anxiety, mental suffering, mortification, outrage, scorn, shame, sorrow, vexation and worry.”

This is, of course, also exactly what a trans person would say if they had not been allowed into the locker room by Planet Fitness and Hornet would be lamenting their great distress and indignity.

Instead, because Cormier is a “cis” woman, they offer a simple solution: “If your transphobia has ruined your reputation, maybe don’t be transphobic.”

Do they recommend overly-traumatic homosexuals or transsexuals “maybe don’t single out Christians to force to participate in your gay wedding/accommodate your delicate gender situation” when they’re turned away from a business? Yeah, no.

First a district court, and then an appeals court found in Planet Fitness’ favor, and when Cormier ultimately appealed to the state Supreme Court, they sent it back to the appeals court to examine the possibility of “consumer fraud.”

There, the appeals court found that transgender men were biological women, to Hornet’s utter horror:

Unfortunately this time the appeals court was much more in line with Yvette Cormier’s way of thinking. The appeals court apparently agrees that trans women are not women, writing, “Plaintiff’s actions indicate that she strongly preferred a locker room and a restroom in which individuals who are assigned biologically male are not present, and it is thus reasonable to infer that defendants’ failure to inform plaintiff of the unwritten policy affected her decision to join the gym.”

Yeah…trans women aren’t women. That’s why they’re trans. What do they “transition” from if they’re not born males?

And this, my friends, is the level of utter insanity of the far-left radical gender theorists who have suddenly become part of the mainstream. They legitimately think that gender confused males are born female but misgendered at birth. 

Cormier’s case has now gone back to a trial court, where Hornet hopes they will make the “right” decision.

Whatever the court decides, it will not change the fact that the trans community has adopted this utterly fascistic attitude towards those who do not share their false conception of reality.
