A Call to Action by Occupy the Vatican

Rome:

Survivors of church terror and their allies are taking direct action against the world’s oldest and most ruthless criminal, starting Palm Sunday, April 1.

Occupy the Vatican and survivor’s groups in eight countries will launch church occupations, teach-ins, protests, and even “public defrockings” that day that will include the issuing of a New Reformation Charter, containing a ten point program to abolish the power of the Vatican as a criminal body.

The April 1 campaign will include actions by a new group within the churches called Not in Our Name, comprising Catholic and Protestant clergy who support the legal disestablishment of criminal church corporations like the Vatican and the Church of England, and a return to an egalitarian, congregational system of Christianity devoid of the genocidal legacy of Christendom.

Joining this Occupy movement will be traditional indigenous elders in Canada from the Mohawk, Squamish and Ojibway nations who survived Catholic and Protestant “Indian residential schools”, and who will be issuing new banishment orders to evict these churches from their lands.

In Ireland, plans are afoot to conduct “public defrockings” of known child raping priests who the authorities refuse to prosecute.

“We won’t let these bastards pose as men of God anymore, or practice in our communities. We’ll toss them out of the churches on their ass” described Colm O’Brien of Wexford, a member of Occupy the Vatican Ireland.

In Rome, Occupy supporters plan to create a human “exorcism” chain around the Vatican on Easter Sunday, April 8, to “expel the spirit of lies and violence” from the church.

Besides these direct actions, Occupy the Vatican is working with members and officials of the European Parliament and other nations to repeal the so-called “financial concordats” between the Vatican and governments, and to bring the operations of the Vatican Bank under public control and scrutiny.

“The important thing is to take action to dismantle the church from the ground up, and place it under public control. That’s the only way future generations of our children will be safe from a church that’s a law unto itself and feeds and profits off the suffering of the innocent” declared Caoimhin Ui Niall of Occupy the Vatican.

“Let everyone do something on April 1 and April 8 to end the reign of terror of this false church.”

Life on the forgotten islands of South Asia is very secluded. They lack basic luxuries such as running water and toothbrushes. Not to mention that their only source of water is often from stagnant ponds where they bathe, wash dishes, and fish. To them, life may seem hopeless.

God has not forgotten them

God has called 18 national missionaries to minister to these forgotten islands. Travelling by boat, these brothers bring a message of light into the deep darkness of these hidden waterways. As they build personal relationships with the villagers, God lowers the social barriers that usually exist between outsiders and the islanders.

Cultivating bonds with the people on the islands opens up many doors for sharing the Gospel. So far, 20 Bridge of Hope centers have been established, and Jesus Wells have been provided to help with the general health of the islands.
There is still a lot to do

After witnessing the true love and dedication of these missionaries, these forgotten people want to learn more about the Lord. Because of this, more than 66 Christian fellowships started on over 44 of the forgotten islands. Everywhere these missionaries go, people learn of a personal relationship with Jesus—even their boat drivers!

There is still a lot of work to be done. With your help, we can continue to reach into places like these forgotten islands with the love of Christ. Partner with a national missionary, and watch how God moves mightily in both Asia, and your own life.

I scribbled the instructions in my notepad as fast as the strange man with the faint twang could give them: Ride the DC Metro red line out to the final stop. Walk to the commuter lot. Wait there. Look for a black Cadillac.

It was my first encounter with a real-life whistleblower, a man I’ll call Roger. He had read my Mother Jones reporting in 2009 on the subprime mortgage crisis – so he told me in an early email exchange — and wanted to discuss some documents that had come into his possession. “This is a huge story, Andrew, and you’re gonna blow it open.” He always called me Andrew. (My parents don’t call me Andrew.)

Half a dozen emails and phone calls later, I was sitting shotgun in Roger’s car as we zipped through leafy suburban Maryland, and later holed up in his apartment. It was unnervingly clean, like the model unit that no one lives in. Instead of the usual socks and pants and shirts, his dressers overflowed with papers and cassette tapes. I spent hours riffling through those papers while picking at fried chicken and guzzling bottles of iced tea. Roger never ran out of iced tea.

He could be difficult and exhausting. He called at odd times and talked for hours. He described conspiracies against him, the mounting legal bills he’d incurred for taking on The Man. He also had a big heart, and his documents and his contacts helped me write one of my biggest stories.

Journalists wouldn’t be able to do their jobs without whistleblowers. Theirs is the lone voice emerging from the din, the one that tips us off, gets us started, delivers the key documents, provides an insider’s view of an otherwise unknown world.
