Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible with 176 verses (5 pages in my Bible). I think every verse references the Word of God.

Verse 1: "the law of the Lord"
  Verse 2: "His testimonies"
  Verse 3: "His ways"
  Verse 4: "Thy precepts"

...and on and on it goes. What must be in the heart of the man that wrote all this? What high reverence for God's Word.

You may know what the Bible says but what does it mean by what it says? How does it apply? I'm looking forward to this brief introductory study on how to study the Bible. You'll learn the code to unlock its rich truths. If you like puzzles or if you have an inquisitive mind or if you ask a lot of questions about everything or even if people say you criticize too much, then you will thoroughly enjoy what you learn here.

As suggested in this book, I will space these posts out so you take time to practice what you learn. There are 15 chapters in 100 pages so the sections will be brief. The goal is to form a good habits that unearths rich truths from God's Holy Word. That will require repetition with some guidance.

Questions & Notes

If you read nothing else of this introduction read the section “My Hope.” Understand here at the outset the purpose of this booklet what you will be doing, and how best to do it. Each of these posts will take about 15-45 minutes to complete. So, make a commitment today to give yourself some time to become a better observer of God’s Word so that you become all that God wants you to be.

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'”
